The event saw the active involvement of a high-profile Selection Committee, including Mohammad Iqbal (Chairman), Vinod Kumar (Haryana), Abhay Shriwas (Madhya Pradesh), Prem Singh Thapa (Odisha), and Aqsa Gulzar (Jammu & Kashmir). These experts brought a fair, disciplined, and transparent approach to the trial process.

Further ensuring the integrity of the selection, Sonu Kumar, Observer from the Sports Authority of India (SAI), was also present to monitor the proceedings closely.

Adding to the significance of the occasion was the presence of Irfan Aziz, Chief Coach of India, who shared valuable insights and motivated the young aspirants with words of encouragement and purpose. “This is just the beginning,” he said, emphasizing that these trials are more than a competition—they are the launchpad for the next generation of sports leaders.

The selected athletes will now head into a rigorous 15-day coaching camp under the guidance of renowned Indonesian foreign coach Suhud Indranto, an expert known for developing world-class talent. This camp is expected to boost the athletes’ performance levels ahead of the prestigious Asian Youth Games.
